Welcome to the web site of one of the oldest pedagogical educational institutions of Ukraine. In 2021, Pedagogical College will celebrate its 150th anniversary.
This is a historical event in our educational life because in 2021 we’ll also observe the 30th anniversary of independence of Ukraine and the 360th anniversary of Ivan Franko Lviv National University founding.
Today Pedagogical College of Ivan Franko Lviv National University is an educational establishment that provides a higher education and prepares specialists on the basis of complete secondary education on the specialties: “Primary education”, “Pre-school education”,”Social work”, “Information, library and archival affairs”. 2017/18 academic year in Pedagogical College was opened a new interdisciplinary specialty «027 Museum Studies». Specialization: “School, museum and local lore work in educational institutions”. Qualification: Bachelor of museum and monument studies. Museum Communications specialist in education and science.
Old traditions and international cooperation, innovative methods of teaching, informative methodical, educational, scientific guidance in Pedagogical College form a new generation of educators that are of great importance in the modern world.
We hope that European integration into the scientific world and pedagogical experience enrichment will preserve the cultural and educational heritage for the future generations.
