The College library is an important structural unit of the educational institution, which provides informational, cultural and educational software of educational process. The main tasks of the library is to provide the readers’ needs with educational, scientific and methodical literature; to form the information resources; to introduce the new information technologies. The priority is the bibliographic, informational, and educational work, the reviews of psychological and educational literature, some theme exhibitions deployed to key dates and on educational topics. Some poster exhibitions about famous figures of history, science and culture are created. The library is updated regularly and has an exhibition of new acquisitions. Employees are actively involved in educational events taking place in college. Library provides assistance in creating and editing lists of literature to the course, diploma and other scientific works. Library service occurs on subscription and in a reading room. The reader have the opportunity to use alphabetical and systematic catalogs, systematic card index of articles. bibl_1 bibl_2 bibl_3 bibl_4 The library serves students and teachers of College of Education and Teacher Education Faculty, students who are studying the psychological and pedagogical disciplines, employees of educational institutions of the city and the region. The library stock is 55,831 copies, including 5028 copies of periodicals. The library is equipped with a modern computer and office equipment. In the reading room readers have the possibility of free Internet access technology Wi-Fi. More than 24,000 readers visit college library each year. Over 36 thousand copies of literature, including more than 7,000 periodicals are given away from the library. Library Schedule: We serve students daily from 10 till 18. Saturday, Sunday are days off.
